Nitzinger - One Foot in History 1973

John Nitzinger is a blues rock guitarist  and songwriter from Fort Worth, Texas. In the early 70's, Nitzinger penned songs on five records by fellow Fort Worth band Bloodrock. When Bloodrock 2 went gold, Nitzinger signed a deal with Capitol and his first album "Nitzinger" was released in 1972. In 1973 his second album was issued on Capitol Records. On April 7, 1975, Nitzinger was the opening act for B.B King at the Longhorn Ballroom, Dallas, Texas. In 1976 a solo record was released called "Live Electrically on @0th Century Records.  After 1980. he continued releasing solo records, and participated in works by Carl Paul Palmer and Alice Cooper.
