Pax is a hard, "acid" rock band from Lima, Peru. Led by the first guitar player: Pico Ego-Auquirre and is a precursor for hard rock in Latin America. At the same the productions of Black Sabath, and Deep Purple, Pax (in Latin means "Peace") released their first album, which has gone on to be a hard rock And Peruvian rock jewel.
Mark Aguilar or ("Slick"), an American on business a trip took on the bass, Miquel Flores on drums, Pico on first guitar, and Jamie Crue on vocals would be the lineup on their first record. 1972 saw them playing with such bands as: El Alamo, Tarkus, & Telegraph Avenue among others. By the middle of the year, the band released "May God And Your Will Land You And Your Soul Miles Away From Evil."
by 1973, Mark decided to follow a girl back to America, and subsequently he was replaced by Rafel Ego-Agiurrge. Soon Crue would travel to Germany Geraldo Manuel took over on vocals.
After the military dictatorship of Juan Valesco Alvarado, the band was forced to dissolve, but reformed in 1980.
