From Alexandria Virginia, Pentagram are already widely known as pioneers of Heavy Metal, and the subgenre of Doom Metal in particular. The band was prolific in the underground scene of the 1970's producing many demos, rehearsal tapes, and a handful of singles but did not release a full lenth until they re-grouped in the early 1980's with a completely new lineup.
Throughout the bands history the only constant member has been Bobby Liebling. The revolving lineup of Pentagram has featured many well respected musicians in the Doom Metal circuit, with members spending time in such bands as Raven, The Obsessed, Place of Skulls, Internal Void, and Spirit Caravan as well as others. The band was formed in 1971 and although the group would change it's name several times in 1971 and 1972 (Virgin Death, Macabre, and Wicked Angel were all considered in this period) they would eventually, and permanently return to Pentagram.
Last Days Here is a documentary film featuring the struggles of Bobby Liebling the lead singer, songwriter, and co-founding member of Pentagram as he and others attempt to get his life back together.
